Terms of Service

By creating an account or using degrees°, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

degrees° is currently available by invitation only. You must be at least 16 years old and have a valid invitation code to register. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials and encryption password secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe others’ rights;
• upload malicious, harmful or illegal content;
• harass, abuse or impersonate others, or misuse another person’s documents or data;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure.

You retain ownership of the trips, itineraries, journals, posts and documents you create. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely to operate and provide the service to you and the people you choose to share it with. You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to share it.

degrees° is offered during a beta on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, break or be removed, and data may occasionally be unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Keep your own copies of anything important.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, degrees° and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
